Visual Checklist

  1. Check your fonts—only Heebo and Tinos should be used
  2. Check your colors—only CEC brand colors should be used
  3. Use red to highlight call to action
    1. DON’T use red for long blocks of text or document background color
    2. DON’T overlay green, orange, blue, or red colors
  4. Check CEC logo usage
    1. Use official logo colors or black/white ONLY
    2. DON’T change the colors of the logo
    3. DON’T use only the “people” graphic or only the text of the logo
    4. For print, logo should be bigger than 1 inch wide / ½ inch tall
    5. For digital, logo should be bigger than 100px wide / 50 px tall
  5. Verify copyright/permissions/licensing of graphics being used
    1. Do you own or create it? If not, do you have explicit permission to use?
    2. If audited, do you have documentation/proof of permission?
  6. Check Photography / Graphics / Illustrations / Icons
    1. Clarity
    2. Includes Diversity, Inclusion
    3. Avoids Bias
    4. Tone and Mood
    5. Source
    6. Relevance
    7. Accessibility
